We are having a General Meeting, followed by a demonstration of how to construct an Audio Visual. Bring a fully charged laptop, plus some images and music (if you intend to add music). If you don’t already have a Audio Visual program on your laptop there are free ones on the web. You can construct a mini 10, 10 images plus a title slide, or an AV that will go no longer than 4 minutes.
Tables will be set up, and there will be people to help you.
Program night on 23rd June will be a showing of your Audio Visual.

Social Documentary:
Social documentary photography is the recording of what the world looks like, with a social and/or environmental focus, and aims to draw the public’s attention to ongoing social or environmental issues. It is often associated with the photographer providing a critical review / assessment of these issues and how people act on them. In these cases, the photographer also often advocates for the people impacted, trying to draw the public’s attention to the topic documented. Images need to be black and white (grey tonal range) and not toned with any colour.

Monochrome:
An image is Monochrome only if it gives the impression of having no colour (i.e., contains only shades of grey which can include pure black and pure white) OR it gives the impression of being a greyscale image that has been toned in one colour across the entire image. Creative:
Creative or experimental photographs display a novel effect because of an unusual combination of objects and /or unusual viewpoint. On the Program night 22st March the club has invited Lynette Romano to present on “Figure Study” .As this presentation will be of the human body, nudity, mainly upper body, will be shown. This will not be risque but a presentation of the human form. Both the photographer and model are professionals and that it goes without saying that we as members should show them the respect that they deserve.We request that should you be offended in any way please do not attend.
